In a bizarre collaboration that challenges conventional expectations, the game developer has revealed an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering free bonus story content for Shadows players.

According to the authorized release, "A strange meeting leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where hints of forbidden ceremonies and fearsome transformations resonate through the shadows." The narrative presents a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a clandestine sect.
The mission concentrates on "peculiar tests and a monstrous adversary" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

The trailer features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave.
